Reformed bow and new bow holding method

A modified bow

Use 502 glue to stick the power switch of an electronic keyboard to the end of the ponytail compartment, polish it into the shape of the ponytail compartment end with sandpaper, and remove half of the leather cover to achieve the effect of lengthening the ponytail compartment end. It took me half a day to complete the process, and after several adjustments, it is now very easy to use. I have been using it all this time and have never changed to any other bow. The process is too simple and rough, and there are two important issues with the bow.

The ponytail was pinned to death, and the tension of the bow hair could not be adjusted. The bow hair remained tight, which determined that the lifespan of this modified bow was very short.

Half of the two leather cases were removed, and the index finger of the right hand was almost unable to lean against the leather case, which had an impact on the index finger.

The bow hair has been shortened by 17mm
Two New Archery Techniques

The thumb nail faces the tip of the bow, while the traditional nail faces downwards;

The positions of the thumb and middle finger on the bow are offset, with the thumb in front and the middle finger behind, and the traditional thumb and middle finger facing each other;

Three little fingers are placed on the inner side of the bow, traditionally placed directly above the bow;

The thumb and little finger form a circle, traditionally the thumb and middle finger form a circle.

The new archery technique has three main characteristics. Firstly, the thumb fully controls the end of the ponytail; Secondly, the thumb has a greater degree of extension and flexion, providing more space for movement and greater flexibility and strength; The thumb and little finger are on the same side, while the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger are on the same side. The allocation of five fingers is more reasonable.

The purpose of extending the end of the ponytail compartment is to expand the space for the thumb's movement, while avoiding the thumb from touching the bow hair and then the metal ring on the bow tail compartment during right-handed archery, which makes it difficult for the thumb to adapt.
