The violin is mainly made of wood, and the selection and processing quality of wood materials have a decisive impact on the sound quality and quality of the violin. The author conducted research on the domestic violin manufacturing industry from the perspective of wood science and technology, exchanged ideas with experts in the field, summarized the requirements of violin manufacturing for wood species, properties, and processing quality, analyzed the problems in the processing and utilization of wood used in domestic violin manufacturing, and proposed corresponding suggestions for communication and discussion.
